Welcome to the Duagh Graveyard Committee website.
Duagh Graveyard Committee is a voluntary organisation which is dedicated to maintaining and improving the grounds of Duagh Graveyard in Co. Kerry.
This is achieved with the assistance of the public and our many volunteers who gather once a fortnight during the summer to cut the grass in the graveyard.
The Committee works in conjunction with Kerry County Council to improve the graveyard in a number of ways. Significants improvements have been made to the footpaths in the last few years with older paths being repaired and a number of new paths laid down. This will be an ongoing project for the committee and its volunteers for the next few years.
In 2012, a monument was erected by the Committee to honour the Famine victims who are buried in the cemetery as well as the Unrecorded Dead and Holy Innocents who are buried there.
