It includes information about common difficulties such as anxiety and depression, and information about Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) which is an effective psychological treatment. It may be particularly helpful if you are currently receiving CBT and want to know more about your treatment. Self-help materials are not meant to be a substitute for therapy, but can be an useful source of information to help individuals with mental health concerns or needs.
