Knockpatrick garden is almost 100 years old and was started by Tim's father in the 1920's. Some of the older trees and shrubs include magnolias, crinodendrons, beech and red horse chestnuts. The maturity of the older trees and shrubs offer wonderful shelter to more tender shrubs and plants.

A Joy at every turn

Wish we had more time. We will be back soon

Michael White, Mount Congreve Garden

Most certainly one of the most beautiful gardens we have ever seen, well done.

Relaxing, Good for the soul.

Lovely garden, I loved the beautiful views and the moongate.

Garden Paradise.

A heart felt welcome that both myself and my wife rarely experienced. We were made so much at home by the owners. An experience that we will treasure forever.

If it is inspiration and solace you are looking for you will find it in this paradise of fusion gardens, a paradise that all of us at some stage in our lives seek but very few of us ever find.

Well worth a visit

This is a lovely garden to visit. We were the only visitors when we went, but we were so well looked after by the owner.

Some lovely plants to look at in a lovely, beautifully set out garden. The views over the Shannon estuary were stunning.

Some highlights from the garden throughout the year....

The avenue welcomes people as they drive in. The drive is lined with azaleas, rhododendrons, camilias, echiums, bananas, zenobia and much more.

The primula path is full of colour from the candelabra primulas, hostas, echiums, bamboos, skunk cabbage and more.

Every year we try and take on a new project. This water feature of two children holding an umbrealla in the rain surrounded by pink roses was one such project.

Last year we experimented with creating a wild flower garden. We cleared a disused area of the garden and planted some wild flower seeds. The result was magical. We were rewarded with a mass of colour which kept us entertained for months. wild flower garden in Limerick
