Glowing Intellect offers you an opportunity to focus on your mental health and give your mind a the freeway to serve you well.
I grew up with my grandmother in a remote village called Modimola outside Mafikeng. I later on went to live in Mafikeng with my mother and step father after they got married. I completed my Matric at St Mary's high school in Mafikeng where I became the first student in the then Bophuthatswana homeland to receive “Standard Bank Best Matric Student Award.” The event was captured in the Mafikeng Mail, Radio Bop and Bop TV news. During the same year I was the Head boy of the school.
Inspired by my late grandfather and poet, LD Raditladi, I went to study as a teacher and acquired a University Diploma in Education and Training but unfortunately didn't persue my dream of writing Setswana books.
In 2001, I attended an Inculturation school in Kenya, Nairobi, where I was personally inspired by the key speakers of the event. In 2003, I organized a fundaraizing cross-cultural tour to Europe, Austria, where I took with me 15 students from my school choir to stage performances in various communities around Vienna. The money raised was used to educate the poor children in the area of Lomanyaneng and Majemantsho villages in Mafikeng.
I am also well known as a musician. I was a chorister and co-conductor of a popular Molopo Choral Artists choir in Mafikeng. I also conducted St.Mary’s Church Choir in Mafikeng and recorded albums in 2007 and 2010 (which are currently popular in Motsweding & Mafikeng FM).
I relocated to Johannesburg in 2008 with my family to take up a job as a principal of a private school. I have been a teacher for 19 years and a principal (including Deputy Principalship for 14 years). Having decided to pursue my dream of becoming a Psychologist, I was fortunate to be selected to study a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology full time in 2015 at UNISA.
